How much shall we share our daily information? How much can we get from sharing? How much will we face danger by it?

The author, Mr Jeff Jarvis in "Public Part" think about above points. He has shared too much for many people including me. He has done very, very private information that I don't want to write here. Maybe he has tried to reach the limit to know what would happen to him, because he knows the strong merit of sharing. They are to get valuable information, good connection (friendship, organisations) and to become well known etc.

I assume that the pioneers of Internet couldn't imagine that Internet and its connection would be the engine for Arab revolutions in 2011 when they made. But they thought to make information more open would do good. And it will be true in the long run even though many troubles had happened.

It is OK for the persons who want to share their own private information as much as possible. And it is too that to share some information only for getting merit from it. This is the base line. But how much can we push others to share for public good? I couldn't find it out in the book but if we don't allow to be taken photos of our neighbors for Google Street View, we can't look at its view. Many German said No to its wonderful service but he pointed out that "public" must own road view etc. to be kept open.

He talked that if many people want their information to be secret, we can't know many things at all. It is very true and it will be happen very easily. I'm afraid it. We all are very selfish that we want to get without giving others. To share somethings is to give somethings at first. Sometimes we will face troubles by it. So we should prepare, but must not stop to share many things.

Otsu citizens will make the best politician in the near future

Otsu citizens did the right thing to choose Ms. Koshi Naomi as the new Otsu mayor. She will be the best model as the woman mayor. The recent best mayor is Mr. Hashimoto Toru who is the Osaka mayor.

The comparison points Mr. Hashimoto and Ms. Koshi are

they were lawyers.
they are very young in the Japanese politics, she is the youngest woman mayor in Japan.
he is the hardest and fastest engine to change the city, she will be more gentle and longer-term one to do.
he worked as the TV commentator and kind of comedian that made him very famous, she worked as the international lawyer at the United Nation and New York Firm.
he works for the big city, Osaka, she will work for the mid size city, Otsu.
he has his own party named Osaka Ishinnokai, she is mainly supported by the Democratic Party of Japan that is the ruling one in the national politics.
he has the ruling party in Osaka city council and Osaka Metropolitan assembly, she won't.
he has the strong relation to Osaka Metropolitan Governor, Mr. Matsui, she has it too to Shiga-pref. Governor, Ms. Kada Yukiko.
he got many talents to collect the best idea and work along the best way, she will be too.
he builds the connection to the asian politicians and the power, she will do it and US and European power too because she graduated Harvard Law School and she kept its connection.

I strongly hope that European and US journalists spend energy and time to know them very well. Because many countries are becoming terrible that is similar to Japanese economy and politics, but they can break the old way and build new. So they will be the best practice for many countries too.

I hope that one day will come that they helm the world politics to make the sustainable and peaceful society.

The Things that will be scorned by the junior high school students 100 years later

Some junior high school students scorn slavery system of 200 years ago because it was totally nonsense for us. Of course it was very important for the owners who had the huge farm. Without many slaves, they couldn't manage them. If we meet those owners and managers, we would be told "You are so fool because slavery system is the very necessity for us." But as you know that they are totally wrong.

So, I think that same things exist right now. What we think that they are very necessity now but they will be scorned by the junior high school students 100 years later. I think them below.

News are delivered on the paper.
Many developed countries have the policy to let people make their children more and more even though the earth has the over population.
Many Japanese companies restricted their employees use notebooks outside of their companies' buildings and cloud service.
Developed countries' elections use too much money for announcing the candidates' opinion and vote process even though IT makes them much less cost.
Phone call fare is paid. (without the 3G fare)

Task management tool must be simple and very easy to use. But not too simple.

Wunderlist is the best one because
- it has simple beauty.
- we can choose the tasks to show by the list or the filter made of date to do.
- we can use it quickly with many shortcuts.
- to share the list is very easy too.
- it is totally free.
- it syncs among Mac, iPhone and iPad etc smoothly.

Many heavy users love the tools that have project management system and individual task one. I don't think that those tools are not the best ones to manage projects that have many tasks and many info because they takes too many clicks to add and manage the info. Spreadsheet is the best for projects even 2011.

So I think that the task management tool is good for individual.

I'm afraid that someday they will start to get fee from us but I can be supportive because it is the best app.

Dear Sir Steve Jobs,

I would like to thank you for giving us the excellent machines and the way to think.

I'm not the long user of yours, only 3 years. So I always regret why I didn't choose yours more than 10 years ago. The reason why I didn't choose yours was that I thought yours were only for artists and particular people without a deep thought.

I did knew that wrong impression is very strong to remain. But I'm very lucky to meet the idea that yours are very good at using. But I know that many people are remained to be lost. To decrease the number of those sad people, I tried to inform many people to use yours. My action is very small but I would like to do it.

We are in the digital world more and more time so that the importance of tools depends more the way we live. But even now, many people don't care what tools to use.

It is not the only about IT devices but also the way to live. Tools are very critical to do anythings. If we choose the good one or the best, we can do it enjoyably, efficiently and proudly. You showed it to us.

I'm Japanese and many Japanese think that work makes us depressing. Of course, some points of work do it. But as you know, work itself makes us happy.

Japanese needs proud to work. If more and more people use yours, more and more good and great work will be done. Many economists said something but they forget the basic of how we work. If people feels happiness and has the pride to work, the condition of countries will be good.

I strongly hope that more and more people will do the right choice with your thought.

Celluon Magic Cube - World's only virtual projection keyboard and multi-touch mouse (video) - is great even thought little people need to use it right now b/c it shows the magic that we have been waiting for a long, long time, aren't we?

iPhone and Mac are the magic product but they have less magic than Magic Cube b/c it beyonds our thought that keyboard must have the some phisical material. iPhone and iPad made great progress for us to understand that we don't need a keyboard but they need some material, a screen.

Magic Cube only needs the position to be pressed. No matter how its quality is poor, it shows the innovation that will kill keyboard and touch screen one and bring us the next world to work and play beautifully and happily.

If you don't excited to look at it, you have to know that you are not the right person to make innovation.

Japan has a lot of water, clean air with a little poluted, trees, safety and hospitality.

For us to be the angels is the duty not way of living. If it is difficult for some people, they must leave Japan to let the others come in.

Many consultants say that every company needs their own stategies. It is right. But it takes cost too much to make their own ones.

The best practice that can fit many companies for the developed world is the one of Apple. Apple has made the one that can make staffs highly productive and cost effective because they won't do the jobs that developing world people can do. We, developed world citizen, have to do only that we can do. Its theories have been talked a lot but few compnaies in Japan imply them to the daily workflow and corporate system.

Why? It is very simple. Because they don't believe those theories to come true. Because they don't like to think the future.

To think about the future is the most important and fun task for the developed citizen. We can see the irony that the developing people love to do it.

The future of Library

Mr. Seth Godin defined the role of the library and he said that the librarians have the role to do. I think that it will be wrong because its role will be done by the school and teachers. So what is the role remained for the librarians? My answer is non for them. So my suggestion for them is "Be the teachers right now!"

The next teachers are attractive people who have the various career without the old fashioned tests to be the teachers. We don't need more Full time teachers but more part time teachers. Some teach children how to say hello well on the street, some teach how to improve project management in the Starbucks, some are taught by them how to use masterpieces of Apple in the Airport.

I'm agree with Mr. Maeda Toshihiro that it is correct that more data of the individuals exists in the internet, the less generous people become to other people & organisations that did wrong things like crimes. Because we can always get that data easily. One crime makes the person's life miserable forever.

It is based on the information technology making the society transparent. To forgive a person, we need forget the past. As we can search the past, the past will be the present. So we can't forgive him/her easily.
Mr. Ishibashi Hideto said that the air is needed that we can forgive each other, called "Otagaisama".

Otagaisama is the Japanese tradition including helping each other, interdependance and generous mind. If you borrow something, lender can say Otagaisama because in later lender may be borrower. Otagaisama has the mind that you and I will be the same position that needs others' help, so we must not use the powerful position to get more power. And we don't need to worry when we are worse position, because we will not be worse. Otagaisama is the common and daily word. The Japanese have the strong sense to help each other in the daily life.

Undoubtedly, Otagaisama has the strong power to solve the problems made by the internet society that is too transparent.

What's Mine Is Yours" tells us that we can communicate among many people with low price, so we can share info and stuffs.

Without Social Network, to find out the person who can lend the room abroad for foreigners to stay costs very much. So to lend the room for foreingers won't be your business. But with Social Network, it is nice business because you can find the lenders with low energy and the lenders can find you and your room easily.
We don't need stuff to buy to use. We just use them whenever we need without possession.

Why do we need to buy the drill that we use it less than once a year? Possession is not the solution. It is the burden.

Why are the convenience stores needed working in the midnight?

If there are many people who have to work midnight and their works are really needed for our society, we have to support them.

If they need the support in the midnight, there is a chance that the society welcome the convenience stores open in the midnight.

But if the convenience stores can't support their needs well, they must not open in the midnight.

That is the critical point to judge whether the midnight convenience stores are needed or not.
